How We Evaluate Candidates

Track record, culture, theology, and fit all matter.

Premier believes past ministry fruit matters. Dan often uses the baseball card principle: if a player has hit 40 home runs for 10 straight years, and then he moves to another team, there is a good chance he will continue producing at a high level. Ministry is not identical to baseball, but the principle matters: proven faithfulness, leadership, and fruit should be taken seriously.

Before a candidate is presented, Premier looks closely at ministry history, theology, preaching, leadership style, references, personality, family considerations, and overall alignment with the church.
