Worship Pastor Opportunity
Parkview Church in Palm Coast, Florida is seeking a Worship Pastor who is more than a musician or platform communicator: a spiritually mature leader who can keep fueling the worship culture of a growing church, build healthy teams, develop leaders and volunteers, and create worship environments that point people to Jesus.
One mission: guiding people to life change in Jesus Christ.
Located in Palm Coast, Florida, Parkview Church is a vibrant, gospel-centered, Bible-preaching church approaching 3,000 in weekly attendance with a strong vision for continued Kingdom impact. Founded nearly three decades ago by Lead Pastor Greg Peters, Parkview is a growing church with a strong culture, clear vision, and a deep desire to see people genuinely encounter Jesus.
Biblical preaching, authentic worship, a strong leadership culture, intentional discipleship, community outreach, and a commitment to excellence without losing authenticity.
The Broadcast Campus sits on Belle Terre Parkway in Palm Coast. In early 2026 Parkview opened a second campus in Ormond Beach, giving the church a growing multi-site footprint along Florida’s northeast coast.
Parkview hosts the Palm Coast Living Nativity with more than 200 volunteers, serves as a Night to Shine host church, runs a large food and benevolence ministry, and supports church planting and missions.
Not performance, hype, or emotional moments for their own sake.
Parkview defines worship as bringing people into the presence of God so they can see Him more clearly and, as a result, see themselves more clearly. The church values excellence for one reason: excellence removes distractions so people can focus on Jesus.
A high-impact leadership role in a fast-moving, healthy church.
Parkview is realigning its staff under an Executive Pastor with three pastoral direct reports: Ministries, Operations, and Worship. The Worship Pastor is one of those three seats, and the church has made it the priority hire. He will help shape the spiritual atmosphere of the church, the health of its teams, the experience of its guests, and the worship culture of the congregation. This role carries tremendous opportunity and influence.
Pastoral and Organizational Leadership
The Worship Pastor provides pastoral and organizational leadership for worship and production across all Parkview campuses while serving as the primary worship pastor for the Broadcast Campus. He builds unified worship culture, develops people, and ensures dependable, Christ-centered weekend and broadcast experiences.
A Three-Year Roadmap
Parkview’s plan calls for formalizing the Worship Resident program, growing the internship and residency pipeline, strengthening Next Gen and Young Adult worship, and establishing consistent vocal, musical, and production standards across all campuses. The Worship Pastor leads that work.
Specific responsibilities.
Full-time, exempt. Reports to the Executive Pastor. Direct reports: Production Director, Associate Worship Leader, Next Gen Worship Leader, and Technical Director.
Lead Weekend Worship
Serve as point worship leader for 28 weekends per year at the Broadcast Campus and as needed at the Ormond Campus; lead worship for all Christmas and Easter services and special events. Build worship sets that support the spiritual direction of each service.
Set Strategy and Standards
Lead worship and production strategy, planning, execution, and quality standards across all campuses. Establish planning rhythms, accountability, service evaluation, documentation, and healthy staff and volunteer workloads.
Supervise and Develop the Staff Team
Directly supervise, coach, evaluate, and develop the Production Director, Associate Worship Leader, Next Gen Worship Leader, and Technical Director.
Build Teams and Volunteers
Oversee worship and technical team recruitment, volunteer care, auditions, training, scheduling standards, and leadership succession. Recruit, train, disciple, and develop worship volunteers and raise up additional worship leaders and musicians.
Champion the Leadership Pipeline
Cast vision for a worship and technical leadership pipeline from Next Gen through adulthood; champion internships and residencies and oversee all worship-specific interns and residents.
Integrate the Lead Pastor’s Vision
Serve as the lead integrator of the Lead Pastor’s vision for Parkview’s worship culture, translating it into worship practices and team development across campuses. Partner with campus pastors, the Lead Pastor, and the Executive Pastor to align campus needs with church-wide priorities.
Guard the Songs
Develop and lead a song-listening team that evaluates songs for biblical integrity, congregational participation, and thematic alignment with message content. Bring awareness of current worship trends and sound judgment in applying them.
Lead Collaboration and Production
Lead collaboration among worship, production, broadcast, communications, and operations to deliver consistent weekend and special-event experiences. Partner with the Weekend Director on stage design and service order; evaluate the backstage, stage, and house experience and offer actionable feedback.
Steward and Shepherd
Steward departmental budgets, equipment priorities, staffing plans, and production improvements with church leadership. Shepherd volunteers and team members well, and provide pastoral leadership grounded in a theology of worship that pursues excellence honoring God rather than a performance-driven culture.
Develop people, not just services.
Parkview is looking for a leader who loves building and discipling people. Success is not simply measured by musical quality, but by volunteer development, team health, spiritual growth, leadership multiplication, consistency, and culture protection. Creative gifting alone is not enough.
Build a Healthy Worship Culture
This leader will create a ministry culture marked by humility, unity, spiritual maturity, excellence, teamwork, and servant leadership.
Lead with Excellence and Execution
Parkview is a growing church with significant ministry momentum. The ideal candidate must be organized, dependable, proactive, prepared, collaborative, and strong in follow-through.
Protect the Spiritual Tone of the Church
Parkview wants someone who understands the difference between worship and performance, passion and manipulation, creativity and distraction, confidence and ego. This role is likely not the right fit for someone who needs the spotlight, resists accountability, creates unnecessary tension, struggles with follow-through, or prioritizes platform over people.
