Located in the heart of St. Ann, just minutes from downtown St. Louis, Lighthouse Baptist Church is a thriving, multicultural congregation devoted to shining the light of Jesus Christ in our community and around the world. As an independent Baptist church, Lighthouse stands firmly on the truth of God’s Word and the life-changing message of the gospel.
We are a unified church family with two services—one in English and one in Spanish—each given equal value and excellence. Both congregations share one heartbeat: to love God passionately, grow in His Word faithfully, and serve others joyfully.
Our mission is simple yet powerful:
Lighthouse Baptist Church treasures expository preaching, strong biblical discipleship, and intentional evangelism. We believe that true spiritual growth begins early in life—and that students are not just the future of the church, but an essential part of its present ministry.
Our English and Spanish ministries work hand-in-hand, celebrating the diversity of God’s people while pursuing one shared vision: to be a beacon of hope in St. Ann, pointing all people—young and old—to the light of Christ.
We are prayerfully seeking a Youth Pastor who will passionately lead and disciple middle and high school students across both language ministries. This leader will partner with parents, volunteers, and pastoral staff to build a vibrant, Christ-centered youth ministry that inspires students to love God, live His Word, and impact their world.
At Lighthouse, you’ll find a church family that loves deeply, worships joyfully, and believes wholeheartedly in raising up the next generation to walk faithfully with Jesus Christ.

We are a welcoming, multicultural church family where everyone—regardless of language, background, or story—can belong, grow, and experience God’s love through authentic community and shared worship.

We believe real change begins with Jesus. Through His Word and Spirit, lives are renewed, hearts are healed, and people are equipped to walk daily in His truth and grace.

God calls every believer to serve with purpose. We equip and encourage our people to use their gifts to build the church and impact the world for Christ.

Following Jesus’ example of humility, we choose to serve others before ourselves—loving sacrificially, giving generously, and seeking every opportunity to reflect His compassion in our community and beyond.
Lighthouse Baptist Church is a thriving, independent Baptist congregation devoted to shining the light of Christ throughout the greater St. Louis region and beyond.
Lighthouse is led by Senior Pastor Daniel Duke and his wife, Laura Duke, who serves as the church’s Children’s Ministry Director. Before coming to St. Ann, the Dukes served faithfully as missionaries in Peru for 15 years, where God gave them a deep love for cross-cultural ministry and a vision to plant a bilingual church—one family united under one Savior, worshiping and growing together in two languages.
That vision became reality at Lighthouse Baptist Church. Today, the church offers two vibrant services each Sunday—one in English and one in Spanish—both given equal attention, excellence, and passion. This bilingual model is more than a worship format—it is a heartbeat of mission, reflected across every ministry, including children, students, and adults.
With an average Sunday attendance of around 500 people, Lighthouse is a growing, multigenerational congregation marked by joyful worship, biblical preaching, and a deep sense of community. The church family is warm, welcoming, and passionate about reaching people from every background with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
The next step in this mission is reaching the next generation. Lighthouse is prayerfully seeking a Youth Pastor who will build a thriving ministry that connects students from both English- and Spanish-speaking backgrounds. This leader will model unity, authenticity, and gospel-centered discipleship—helping students come to know Christ personally, grow in His Word, and live boldly for Him.
Lighthouse Baptist Church remains firmly committed to the authority of Scripture, expository preaching, and intentional disciple-making. Every ministry is designed to point people toward Christ and equip them to serve others in love.
As the church continues to expand its reach, Lighthouse holds fast to its mission:
At Lighthouse, you’ll find a church united by faith, energized by mission, and eager to see students from every background encounter Jesus—the true Light of the world.
Would you like me to add a short “Vision for Student Ministry” paragraph (around 100 words) that describes Lighthouse’s goals for its youth program under the next pastor? It would make a strong follow-up section in the candidate packet.

Absolutely — here’s a seven-part outline of Youth Pastor responsibilities written in the same tone, format, and level of professionalism as the worship pastor version. Each heading includes about 20 words for clarity and balance.
Provide biblical teaching, mentoring, and pastoral care for middle and high school students, helping them grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Develop and oversee a Christ-focused ministry that emphasizes discipleship, evangelism, service, and spiritual maturity within a fun, safe, and welcoming environment.
Recruit, train, and encourage adult and student leaders—building a unified team that models Christlike character and invests in the next generation.
Work alongside parents to equip them as the primary spiritual leaders of their homes through communication, support, and practical discipleship resources.
Coordinate weekly gatherings, small groups, retreats, camps, and outreach events that connect students with God, each other, and the wider church community.
Encourage students to serve in worship, missions, and ministry, helping them see themselves as vital members of the larger body of Christ.
Work closely with the Senior Pastor and ministry team to align youth ministry goals with the overall vision and mission of Lighthouse Baptist Church.

The successful candidate will be a man who loves Jesus Christ wholeheartedly, shepherds his family faithfully, and models a life of personal holiness and integrity. He will exhibit spiritual maturity through consistent devotion to prayer, Scripture, and servant leadership. As the primary leader, he will lead the church with humility and collaboration, respecting the authority structures established by the elder board or church leadership. He will possess a passionate vision to see the church grow spiritually and numerically, actively engaging the local community with the life-transforming message of the Gospel.
