OUR HISTORY

Trinity on Fifth, nestled in Altoona, Iowa, has been a cornerstone of the community for nearly 200 years. Originally known as Altoona United Methodist Church, it rebranded in 2023, embracing a fresh mission: to make it easy for people to know Christ, grow with friends, and impact their world. Since Pastor John’s arrival in 2007, the church has thrived, expanding its services and launching dynamic outreach programs like the now-legendary Turkey Mission Dinner. Even amidst ongoing renovations, the church is experiencing remarkable growth, with exciting plans to expand its sanctuary and lobby, all to better serve its growing congregation and community.
